About Bits & Bytes

Bits & Bytes is our blog for PC-ER. Here we will provide tips, tricks, and techniques for keeping your computer healthy!

Bits & Bytes was a radio show on NewsTalk 1240 WHBU in Anderson, IN, but the show was cancelled in late 2009 due to us wanting to pursue other interests with PC-ER.

Rick Brown, is one of two owners of PC-ER, Inc.  PC-ER is a computer services company in Pendleton, IN.  PC-ER, originally called Millennium Computer Services, was started in 1999.  Prior to PC-ER, Rick was a contractor at Cinergy (now Duke Energy) in Plainfield, IN.  He served there as a field computer technician.  Rick also is a sports official, officiating football, basketball, and softball.

Rick is married to his wife, Jill (see below), and has two daughters 13 and 8.  He is the drummer at TLC in Lapel.  He volunteers in various ways including through the charity he started, the PC-ER Foundation; he is a Court Appointed Special Advocate; and he coaches his youngest daughters softball team.

Jill Brown is the other owner and President of PC-ER, Inc.  She also works for the US Department of Labor.  Jill sings at TLC in Lapel.  She also is an avid scrapbooker!
