Two weeks ago, I talked about how to publish music online during our “things you can do with your computer but you didn’t know it” segment. I realized today that you need a tool to record/edit your music, and have I got the perfect tool for you. If you have any audio editing needs, Audacity will do the job. It’s a great piece of free software.
Audacity is a great freeware program. I have used it for years. I used to use the professional program protools lite. As far as ease of use and quality you can’t beat audacity. It also helps that the price is right – FREE. I use it for recording live events as well as some studio work. If your not sure what recording program to buy. Don’t buy any.
