



Use these as jokes but please don’t abuse them!! Make sure you know what you are doing and that you can put things back the way they were!
We’ll talk about these a bit more on the show tonight.
1.      Close all programs
2.      Press the “PrtScn” key
3.      Open Paint
4.      Click “Edit” then “Paste”
5.      Save the file (remember where!)
6.      Close Paint
7.      Right click on the desktop and click “properties” (”Personalize” in Vista)
8.      Click the “Display” tab (”Desktop Background” in Vista)
9.      Click “Browse”
10.  Find the file you saved in step 5 and choose it
11.  Right click the desktop and hover your mouse over “Arrange Icons By” (”View” in Vista)
12.  Click “Show Desktop Icons” so that it is unchecked.
13.  Click and drag the top part of the taskbar at the bottom and drag it to the bottom of the screen so that it’s hidden (you may have to unlock it to do this)
14.  Now it will look like they can’t click on their icons or their start button!
1.      Click “Start” then “Control Panel”
2.      Double click “Administrative Tools”
3.      Double click “Task Scheduler”
4.      Add tasks using the task scheduler to make programs open at odd times throughout the day!




Due to recent trends in the computer industry, Bits and Bytes will be changing it’s focus and the content of the show. Because of the changes, we have decided to rename the show “Mac Attack” beginning with tonight’s broadcast. Be sure to tune in at 6pm on WHBU 1240 tonight!
