How about a little fun this week?  We’ve been so serious lately with our downloads, let’s download a game this week!  There was a game I played YEARS ago called “Scorched Earth”.  Scorched Earth was a game where you had a small “tank” like thing and you would change the angle and power to shoot a weapon of some sort at your opponant.  Then they would do the same back at you.  Well, Scorched Earth 3D is the same thing except that it is in a 3D environment and you can also play online!  It’s a great game, you should check it out at http://www.scorched3d.co.uk/.  Let us know what you think!

Audacity

Two weeks ago, I talked about how to publish music online during our “things you can do with your computer but you didn’t know it” segment.  I realized today that you need a tool to record/edit your music, and have I got the perfect tool for you.  If you have any audio editing needs, Audacity will do the job.  It’s a great piece of free software.
